On November 26, 2025, following prior installation, construction and commissioning, the on-site part of the 178MWh energy storage power station in Newcastle, UK, co-constructed by Narada Power, has been fully completed.
The UK is currently transitioning from a "high-penetration renewable energy" power system to a "high-proportion flexible and intelligent power system". Energy storage will evolve from a single frequency response tool into the core of the system featuring multiple roles, multiple markets and coexisting technologies.

The project is equipped with 48 containerized battery compartments and 24 PCS integrated AC-DC conversion compartments.
Narada's 1500V high-voltage integrated system has significantly improved energy density and energy conversion efficiency, while greatly reducing system integration costs, container costs, line losses, land occupation and construction costs.
