Narada Signs 123MWh AC-DC Energy Storage System Procurement Contract in Greece
Release Date:2025-03-13

Recently, Narada signed a supply contract with an Egyptian company to provide energy storage systems for its project in Greece, with a total installed capacity of 50MW/123MWh.

Narada will supply a complete AC-DC energy storage system, including the site’s SCADA and EMS systems. On the DC side, the project will feature Narada's Center L Plus liquid cooling energy storage system, equipped with the company’s self-developed high-safety, high-performance energy storage batteries. Additionally, Narada will provide a 10-year full lifecycle operation and maintenance service for the project.

This project is a key part of Greece’s energy transition strategy, aiming to enhance grid stability and increase renewable energy integration through large-scale energy storage systems. The storage system will release electricity during peak demand periods, reducing grid pressure, and store excess power during low-demand periods, improving energy utilization efficiency. Its completion will provide strong support for optimizing the energy structure in Greece and across Europe.

In overseas markets, where labor costs are high and land transportation conditions are restricted, 20-foot containerized solutions are commonly used for DC-side energy storage systems. Despite the smaller size, Narada has successfully developed targeted solutions that balance thermal management and battery cell arrangement, ensuring efficient and stable operation in complex environments.

Being repeatedly listed in the BNEF Global Tier 1 Energy Storage Manufacturers List serves as strong recognition of Narada’s growing presence in the international energy storage market. This cooperation marks another solid step forward in Narada’s global expansion.

As the global energy transition accelerates, demand for energy storage technology will continue to rise. With its advanced technology and extensive project experience, Narada is well-positioned to further enhance its international market influence in the future.
