Recently, Narada was listed in the "2023 CDP Supplier Engagement Leader A List", disclosed by CDP, a global environmental research center. It is reported that among 3,200 participating companies from mainland China, only three received the highest grade of 'A'. In the CDP’s climate change and water security ratings, Narada also earned an impressive 'B' grade.
CDP is a global non-profit organization and the leading authority on carbon emission disclosure worldwide. CDP aims to drive companies and governments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to protect water and forest resources. More than 24,000 institutions globally disclosed data through CDP in 2023. CDP scores are widely used in global investment and procurement decisions.
As a practitioner of the "dual-carbon" strategy, Narada commissioned a third-party professional organization to perform carbon footprint certification for the company's main products, covering stages from raw material acquisition, transportation, production, product transport, usage, to recycling. Based on the results of the carbon footprint assessment, a more targeted carbon reduction plan was developed and implemented to decrease greenhouse gas emissions throughout the product's entire lifecycle, thereby supporting green manufacturing and sustainable low-carbon development.
This time, Narada's “A-” rating from CDP, significantly exceeds the global, Asian, and industry average of 'C', demonstrating the company's effective climate action across its entire value chain.
