Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 2025 Green Manufacturing List. Narada Huatuo New Energy, a subsidiary of Narada Power Source Co., Ltd., has been successfully approved as a national-level green factory.
Green factories are basic units and important starting points for China to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the manufacturing industry. Taking the lithium battery industry as an example, the selection criteria for national green factories include battery echelon utilization efficiency, harmless disposal rate of electrolyte, low-carbon production processes, etc. Meanwhile, an evaluation framework of "local practice + global standards" has been established by benchmarking against the EU EMAS Eco-Management and Audit Scheme and the international standard ISO 50001 for energy management.
Narada Huatuo has always been committed to green and low-carbon development, carried out energy-saving diagnosis and environmental protection work, and implemented clean production and technical transformation measures, injecting strong impetus into the green transformation of the industry.
In terms of low-carbon energy, Narada Huatuo has implemented a series of energy-saving and carbon-reduction measures in the past three years, such as the transformation of steam condensate in power stations and the transformation of steam and compressed air pipelines. After the low-carbon transformation, remarkable green performance has been achieved in environmental protection data per kilowatt-hour: chemical oxygen demand (CODCr) emission is only 0.035 grams, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are only 0.61 grams, and wastewater generation is 0.022 cubic meters.
The company focuses on the efficient utilization of resources and has realized the replacement of traditional materials with recycled materials. The NMP recovery rate reaches 98.81%, the industrial water reuse rate reaches 99.68%, and the comprehensive utilization rate of general industrial solid waste reaches 93.79%. Meanwhile, the production of lithium battery cells and battery packs meets the requirements of the Standard Conditions for Lithium Ion Battery Industry.
In terms of product greening, the factory applies the green design concept in the product design process, carries out product carbon footprint verification and certification, the proportion of products subject to carbon footprint accounting reaches 100%, and the utilization rate of recycled lithium iron phosphate raw materials reaches 29.28%.
