Recently, Narada signed a supply contract with a Greek energy company to provide energy storage systems with a total installed capacity of 130 MWh for an independent energy storage project in Greece, marking another significant breakthrough for the company in the European market.
Narada will deliver a complete energy storage system solution for the project, including both AC and DC-side equipment. The DC side will feature Narada's Center L Plus 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage systems, equipped with the company's self-produced 314Ah energy storage cells.
In addition, Narada will provide a full lifecycle O&M service for a period of ten years, ensuring the project's long-term stable operation.
Located in the eastern Mediterranean, Greece is rich in renewable energy resources. However, in recent years, as renewable energy capacity has rapidly increased, grid regulation pressures have become more pronounced—particularly during the high-demand summer season.
Energy storage technology is becoming a critical tool to ensure grid stability and enhance the local capacity to absorb renewable energy.
Once completed, the project will be connected to the local Greek power grid, serving a variety of applications such as peak shaving and valley filling, frequency regulation, and emergency backup.
