Narada Secures 1.4GWh Overseas Energy Storage Order
Release Date:2025-07-08

Recently, Narada signed an energy storage order with a well-known large independent power producer in India, supplying 1.4 GWh of energy storage systems for a major new energy photovoltaic project in the country. This project is among the largest single energy storage projects in India.

Driven by global energy transition and policy incentives, India's renewable energy sector is developing rapidly, and its energy storage market is growing at a fast pace. The project site is located in a tropical climate zone, where the hot summer temperatures place extremely high demands on the heat dissipation performance and long-term stability of energy storage systems.

To address these challenges, Narada's liquid-cooled energy storage system adopts a multi-stage, variable-diameter liquid-cooling pipeline design to ensure uniform temperature distribution and effectively enhance heat dissipation efficiency. The dual-system backup design for liquid cooling ensures that if one cooling unit fails, the other can continue to operate normally, keeping the batteries stable.

In response to the high-temperature conditions at the project site, Narada has optimized the battery's electrochemical system, structure, and manufacturing process. The innovative application of SNS low-heat-generation technology significantly reduces the temperature rise during operation, achieving systematic control of internal heat generation—particularly suitable for high-rate charge and discharge scenarios.

The system is equipped with Narada's self-developed and manufactured energy storage BMS, with key components meeting automotive-grade reliability standards. It offers high precision and excellent high-temperature performance, delivering strong active balancing capability during operation and greatly improving system consistency.

In addition, some key system components have an IP67 protection rating. Combined with multiple safety protection designs, the system can withstand both high temperatures and sandstorm conditions, ensuring long-term safe and reliable operation.

Once completed, the project will significantly enhance the stability of local renewable energy output and the grid's regulation capability, while further strengthening Narada's leading position in the global new energy storage sector. It is also expected to have a positive impact on the company's future operating performance.

Worldwide, Narada's liquid-cooled energy storage systems have demonstrated outstanding performance in numerous operational projects, offering high reliability and high availability, and meeting the demands of long-cycle, high-intensity applications—contributing to the global energy transition.
